Stories of change
Hodan, 12, lives in an IDP camp in Kahda District, Mogadishu. Since losing her father in 2018, her mother has raised seven children alone. With school supplies out of reach, Hodan was at risk of falling behind – until she received a school bag, notebooks and stationery through our education programme. Today she is in Grade 8.
“Knowing that my daughter has the school supplies she needs gives me relief and hope.”— Hodan’s motherName changed to protect the child’s privacy. Photo shows a school supplies distribution.
